who we are?
The Centre for Health Science and Law (CHSL) is a Canada based independent agency which focuses on health advocacy and food and nutrition policy.
What do we do?
We publish a bimonthly informative Health magazine called food for life report. Our goal is to empower the people of Canada by giving enough and precise information about food and lifestyle choices. We take pride in presenting well-researched material about diet, nutrition and food policies.
Our Values
Our core is to present an unbiased opinion, hence we do not accept any funding from any government or industry. We do not publish any advertisements in our magazine food for life report.
Key Personnel
Bill Jeffery
Bill Jeffery, BA (Hons.), LLB, is the Executive Director of the Centre for Health Science and Law based in Ottawa, Canada. He was national coordinator of the Centre for Science at the Centre for Science in the Public Interest (Canada) for 19 years and articled at the Public Interest Advocacy Centre and three organizations, also based in Ottawa.
